Every Christian community on
Earth is neglecting the discipleship mandate of Jesus
Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, by replacing it with rituals of revival, free
food fellowship, and overseas outreach ministries. Even when some give a positive
response to God’s call, the church community does not provide meaningful
discipleship or Gospel awareness. This continues the loss of meaning and
relevance of Christianity by replacing it with ritual practices like those of
other religions on Earth.
One of these is Islam, where the
followers of this religion have become more consistent in the rituals of
prayer, repeating the text of the Holy Koran more often than Christians,
and performing other rituals more regularly. They even memorize the
entire book in Arabic, because they claim the book was revealed in that
language.
A disciple-maker is a follower
of Jesus who displays the fruits of the Spirit in their life in such a way as
to challenge others to imitate them and establish a personal relationship with
God as well. They will continuously seek and pray to be used in witnessing to
others for Christ.
The knowledge of the Bible
should produce a transformed way to live the Christian life (2 Timothy
3:16-17), In it we learn that God chose a man (Abraham), to form a nation (the
Israelites), and through them sent His Son Jesus to save the people living under
the total grip of the god of this world, because salvation is the
transformation of the human soul to believe and obey God’s will, as it is all
revealed in the Bible, for all humankind in the Old Testament Commandments and
the teaching of Jesus in New Testament gospels and letters, change their
natural way to live.
The preaching of the Gospel
should include:
The knowledge of God and His
Kingdom, to support your relationship with your adoptive Father in Heaven.
The knowledge of Jesus Christ
His human Son who was sent to Earth to give us the light of the truth, about
the purpose of the God of Creatin, when he created humans, but also, He paid
the price of the ransom to rescue the fallen soul, living today, under the grip
of property and mind of the god of this world.
