After the first resurrection, the Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years
4 And I saw thrones,
and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the
souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the
word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not
received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And
they lived and reigned with Christ for [a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the
dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the
first resurrection.
(Revelations 20:4-5 NKJV)
The Great White Throne
Judgment
11 Then I saw a great
white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead,
small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book
was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were
judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the
books. (Revelations 20:11-12 NJJV)
The fruits of
the Spirit: With the New Birth comes God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. It is the
Spirit who grants each believer spiritual gifts (Galatians 5:22-23) that enable
the building up of Christ’s church and the communication of the Gospel.
The foundational
gifts of the Holy Spirit: Apostles, prophets, healings, miracles, speaking in
tongues, interpretation of tongues, to provide the evidence of God’s presence
to the early church:
Today’s gifts of
the Spirit are: Faith, Leadership, Evangelists, Word of knowledge, Wisdom,
Discernment of the spirits, showing kindness, helping others. They are the
evidence of God’s presence in today’s church
